Open-source components bundled with SplitJam ยท Split Mix Holdings LLC

Draft, pending legal review. This attribution list is maintained as components are added. The exact license obligations (especially for LGPL components) will be confirmed with counsel before public launch.

SplitJam includes the following open-source software. Each is used under its own license, which governs that component. Where a license grants you rights (for example, the LGPL right to replace a library with your own build), those rights apply.

lamejs v1.2.1

LGPL-3.0 · Copyright (c) Alex Zhukov and the lamejs contributors; a JavaScript port of LAME.

Used for: MP3 (.mp3) export encoder.

License notice: LGPL. We include this license notice and attribution, and the library is a separable component you may replace: it ships as a distinct JavaScript/wasm module, not statically fused into our own code, so you can substitute a modified build. The LGPL license text ships with the application, and source for the library version we ship is available on request and via the project upstream.

License notice: MIT. The copyright and permission notice is included with the application (a license notice file ships alongside the vendored library) and attribution is provided here.

License notice: MIT. The copyright and permission notice is included with the application (a license notice file ships alongside the vendored library) and attribution is provided here.

Full license texts

Copies of the applicable license texts (LGPL and MIT) are included with the application and are available on request at support@splitjam.music. For LGPL components, source for the version we ship, and the means to relink or replace the component, are available on request and via each project's upstream linked above.

The SplitJam desktop application also bundles additional open-source components used for audio processing (for example, the audio-separation engine and media tools) under their own licenses. We maintain the attributions and license texts for those components with the application as it is distributed, and this page is updated as components change.
